A note from Maitri
Ikdhun started with a very simple discomfort: when I talk about someone I love or admire, I never begin with their salary, height, college or a neat list of hobbies. I tell you the tiny things. What makes them laugh. What they've survived. What they care about. What kind of life they're trying to build.
An hour-long conversation cannot tell you whether somebody is “the one”. But it can make you curious about a person you may otherwise have reduced to a few bullet points. That is all I want the beginning to do.
